Bike Races Which You Shouldn’t Miss in 2022

Posted on 28/12/202129/12/2021 by admin

Cyclists love to watch cycling races, from time to time. But, watching a race is not the same as racing. Not everybody can race in a professional race, let alone a grand tour, so watching is what most cyclists have to settle for. While some people enjoy watching cycle races in their free time, others spend their free time by using Bethard Welcome Offer as a form of entertainment.

Bicycle races are amazing, and here are a couple that you should not miss in 2022, in no particular order.

Tour de France

It is the race to watch, and the one that many cyclists would love to be able to take part in. The Tour is that race that every cyclist would like to win, well, every road cyclist. The people attending the race, particularly the ones breaking the records, are the most elite athletes that the sport has seen. Imagine leading in any of the tour’s many stages, or in multiple ones, or even winning the whole thing.

The Tour will be held from July 1 until July 24, so for those who love cycling, clear your schedule for the 2022 Tour de France.

Giro d’Italia

Another Grand Tour, a different country. Some consider the Giro to be a harder tour, mostly due to the mountains. Having a steep climb on multiple stages is difficult for any cyclist.

The Giro is held a month before the Tour, namely from May 6 until May 29. It has more days than the Tour de France, that must make it more difficult, right? We will see once the tour actually starts, this May. If there is one thing that is certain, it is that the Giro will be the coldest of the tours.

Vuelta a Espana

The third Grand Tour and not the least, is the Vuelta a Espana. The Vuelta, or La Vuelta, is another tour, one that takes place from August 19 until September 21. This is the hottest race on the tour, due to obvious reasons – it is held in Spain during the hottest month of the year. It is a difficult tour and the heat will challenge the athletes as much as the stages will.

The tours are basically month to month, so from May until September, cycling fans will have what to watch.

UCI World Championships

The World Championships is an annual tournament held for all the different types of races that you can find in cycling, from mountain biking to road biking and all of the derivatives and combinations you can think of. With the UCI being an annual tournament, you can expect all the elite road athletes to compete, as well as mountain biking athletes, which most cycling fans are not familiar with, especially those who only watch the tours. It is a great event, which should have more fans, all things considered.

2022 Mercedes-Benz UCI Mountain Bike World Cup

Why not another tournament, and this time, a specific one? Held on the 26th of March, it is a great time to watch some of cycling’s greatest mountain bikers compete in three categories, cross country, cross country short track, and downhill.

All three are dangerous and more eventful than road bike cycling so be careful, you might like it more.

These are the cycling tournaments and races to watch in 2022. It is time for a new season!
