Our Desire to Raise Money for Multiple Charities
Our community is supported by a wide variety of important charitable organizations that focus on a diverse number of issues confronting our nation today. Team CYCLE SMART members feel compelled to challenge ourselves to show our support for as many of these organizations as possible during the 2008 Race Across America, bicycle race which crosses the entire United States from coast to coast. As our Team will be made up of a variety of people, we felt it appropriate that each member be able to show their individual support for a charity as the team worked together to complete this ambitious cross-country bicycle race known by many as, The World’s Toughest Race. This way, in fulfilling each of our ambitious dreams together, we will be having a profound and positive impact on our entire community.
Team CYCLE SMART Why a Four Person Mixed Team
Bicycling is a sport and activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. The CYCLE SMART Bicycling Program aims to expose the many activities of bicycling to as many people as possible, young and old, girls and boys, men and women, and the list goes on. That’s why Team CYCLE SMART will always be made up of 2 women and 2 men, young and old, working together, as a team, challenging ourselves to do our very best, for our own ambitions and the good of our community. Team CYCLE SMART offers the highest level of participation within the CYCLE SMART Bicycling Program and promotes equal opportunity for all ages and genders.
